Bernard R. "Bernie" Conner
Age 86 ~ Of Rogers Passed away on February 1, 2012
Preceded in death by parents, Bernard & Ruth; previous wife, Bernice; and grandson, Eric Conner.
Survived by loving wife, Marjorie; sons Larry (Kim), Michael (Patricia), and Jeffrey (Julia) Conner; step-children David (Lori) Bunke, Peggy (Richard) Minniear, Michelle Belisle, Tom (Sandra), Greg, and Vickie Kendall; granddaughter Shannon (Mark) Hazlett, step-grand-children, Curtis (Joan) Mondale, Cory Mondale, Samantha and Bradly Bunke, many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Born in Mpls, he graduated from West High, Class of '43 and was in the US Navy Submarine service from '43 to '46 and the reserves until '52, a life member of the Sub-Vets of WWII and the Am. Legion for 60 years.
He spent most of his life in building construction and retired as the construction mgr. of Cragun's Lodge in Brainerd, MN in 1990.
He was a kind and caring man and will be deeply missed.
Memorial Service 10:00 Monday at Cremation Society Chapel, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park.
Interment 12:45 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
