She was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Rush Center to Phillip and Esther (Yost) Wilhelm. She was a graduate of La Crosse High School.
She married Fredrick "Dudley" Schutte on Nov. 12, 1943, in Paso Robles, Calif. He preceded her in death Feb. 6, 2002. She was a daycare provider for 35 years.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas and Lana Schutte, Pretty Prairie, Mark Schutte, Wichita, and Mike Schutte, Hays; two sisters, Kathryn Pickens, Douglas, and Joyce Rogers, McCracken; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: brothers, Norman Wilhelm, George Wilhelm.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Janousek Funeral Home Chapel, La Crosse; burial in La Crosse City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson, in care of the funeral home.
