Judy Briley Wilkinson died after a long illness on Friday, June 23, 2012, at her home in Cottontown.
She was the daughter of the late Melvin Briley.
She is survived by her sons, Terry (Lynn) Madewell and Kevin (Larissa) Madewell; her mother, Martha Elizabeth Briley; grandchildren, Chase and Elizabeth Madewell.
Judy loved riding horses and playing with her grandchildren.
She was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church.
Judy was retired from the Sumner County Sheriff Dept. where she was a medical officer.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 26 at White House Chapel of Austin and Bell Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Kelley officiating the service.
Burial followed in Hillcrest Cemetery in White House. Pallbearers were Terre Madewell, Kevin Madewell, Donnie Ross, Lsry Jernigan and Ken Jernigan.
The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
