W. Clyde Kelley was ninety-three years old when he died at the Altercare in Lake Township. A former resident of Uniontown and Homeworth, he was born in Alliance, Stark County, Ohio to Gilbert G. Kelley and Mae Battershell Kelley.

When the 1930 Federal Census was taken, Clyde was living on Parkway in Alliance with his stepmother, Edna R. Kelley.

Clyde was an active member of the Silver Park Church of Christ in Alliance, where he served as an elder. He was a 30-year member of the Stark County Rabbit Breeders Association, a past member of Fairmount Grange, and the Washington Township Ruritans.

Clyde was married to his wife for sixty-eight years and they had two daughters and one son. One of their daughters and her husband, preceded Clyde in death. He was the proud grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of twenty.
