Juana L. Young, lifelong resident of Grant County died Tuesday night at the Silver City General Hospital. She was born on the Mimbres River June 24, 1876.
Funeral services for Mrs. Young will be held this afternoon at 5 p.m. at the Catholic Church in Hanover with burial immediately after the funeral in the cemetery at Fierro. Rev. Frances T. Smerke will officiate at the services. Burial is under the direction of Cox Mortuary.
Mrs. Young is survived by her daughter Mrs. Josephine Young, four sons Manuel, Henry, Roberto, and Willie and one sister Mrs. Petra Ortega.
