DAY, Anthony W. "Tony" age 39 of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Garden Manor. He was born July 24, 1972 in Middletown, Ohio the son of the late Larry E. & Rebecca J. (Staton) Day. Tony was an employee of Affordable Services with 10 plus years of service, he was a member of the Gratis Eagles, an avid fisherman and local musician, guitar and song writer. Preceded in death by his brother Tommy Day, maternal grandmother Betty Staton, nephew Elijah Thompson. Survivors include his 3 children Destiny Sawyer, Makala Day, Anthony W. Day, Jr., life partner Angela N. Brabb, 3 sisters Robin Day and William Smith, Rachel Day and Blaine Wilson, Roxanne Harrison, paternal grandparents Ervin & Mary McIntosh, granddaughter Gracelyn Mariah Puckett, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the HERR-RIGGS FUNERAL HOME, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Burial Woodside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family C/O Herr-Riggs Funeral Home.
