From Ebensberg-Fisher Funeral Home:

Elizabeth Hernandez, daughter of Daniel and Leticia Hernandez and beloved sister of Joshua Daniel Hernandez, died peacefully on the morning of May 18, 2009. Elizabeth was born on February 19, 1990. Elizabeth was a lovable young lady with a generous heart whose compassionate nature was evident in all she did. Her joy for life was constantly displayed in her enthusiastic personality and her love for people. Her family was most important to her. Danny, Leticia, Josh and Elizabeth spent many hours of love and laughter with one another. Anyone who met Elizabeth was immediately enchanted with her kindness and her love for life impacted everyone.

Elizabeth was created in God's image and she honored God with her life. Her family considered it a privilege to engage in everyday life with her. Any challenging situation brought their family closer together as they depended on God's faithfulness and love. Each family member's relationship with Jesus Christ was strengthened by their dependence upon Him. His glory echoed through the innocence she walked in and carries on today and lives forever where she now is with her Father.

As sad as Elizabeth's death is for those who remain here, the joy is overflowing and abundant that Elizabeth is now living wholly in the presence of God who sustained her life here on earth.

Elizabeth is survived by her mother and father, Leticia and Daniel Hernandez, her brother, Joshua Daniel, her maternal grandparents, Rudy and Minny Serrata and her paternal grandparent, Cecilia Chapa Hernandez, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at the Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home from 6-8PM. The funeral will be Thursday, May 21, 2009, at 2:30 at the Cibolo Creek Community Church. Interment will follow at the Sisterdale Cemetery.
