Patricia Lou Shock, 52, formerly of Jane Lew, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at John Manchin Sr. Health Care Center, Fairmont, following an extended illness.
She was born October 20, 1957, in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Rodney H. Sommerville and Carolyn J. Davis Marshall.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Steven A. Shock of Jane Lew; one daughter, Melissa Marie Wiant and husband Gary of Lenoir, NC; one son, Gary Lee Lamb II and wife Amy of Jane Lew; two step-sons, Jason Shock and wife Sandra of Texas and Jared Shock of Tennessee; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; twin sister, Pamela Sue Smith and husband Dwain of Jane Lew; two brothers, Michael Bryan Sommerville of Virginia and Rodney Paul Sommerville and wife Valorie of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Patricia worked in housekeeping at the Plantation Inn. She was Methodist by faith.
Friends were received Sunday, February 14, at Boyle Funeral Home, Weston. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, at the Boyle Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment followed in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Mt. Clare.
