Sinkler Rites are Held Here Monday
Funeral services were held at 10 am Monday at the Knutson Funeral Home for
Joseph Sinkler, 79, retired Tisch Mills farmer, who died Friday morning at his
home after a brief illlness. The Rev. B.A. Zimdars officiated and burial was in
the Tisch Mills Cemetery.
Mr. Sinkler was born March 17, 1876 at Luxemburg, the son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. John Sinkler. He married the former Jane Chika on Nov. 11, 1901. Nine years
he retired from active farming.
Survivors besides his wife, include three sons, Earl of Denmark, route 1, Vernon
of Green Bay and Emil of Michigan; two sisters, Mrs. Michael Peot of Luxemburg
and Mrs. Eugene Steinbrecher of Daggett, Mich.; 16 grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
Pallbearers were Anton Zachek, Joseph Vallenta, George Havlichek, Kenneth Gerlasche,
Matt Schleis and William Tess.
