Services for Mrs. C.G. Messenger, 67, were Monday in the Pilkington Funeral Home here. Mrs. Messenger died Friday on the farm where she was born Nov. 11, 1888. Burial was in the Giard Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Miss Amy Messenger of Muscatine, Mrs. Hazel Root of Nevada, Ia., Mrs. Karl Boge of Waterloo, and Mrs. Philip Redden of Anchorage, Alaska, and 12 grandchildren.
