Marian Mann Tolman, 65, our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 10, 2004, surrounded by her loving family, ending a courageous four year battle with cancer. Marian was born June 13, 1939 to Albert E. and Thelma Condie Mann in Salt Lake City. She grew up in Centerville and graduated from Bountiful High School in 1957. She attended Weber State College where she graduated in Cosmetology. Marian married her high school sweetheart, Gale Tolman on August 24, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had three wonderful daughters. Marian was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her 15 grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, boating and her summers at Provo Canyon. She worked in the School Lunch Program at Woods Cross High for many years and also as a Dental Assistant with Dr. Mark Blaisdell. She took great pride in her home and family. Marian was a life long faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving whenever called. Some of her callings included Junior Sunday School Coordinator, ward and stake Young Women's counselor, Relief Society presidency, Achievement Day Leader and Ward Librarian. Marian loved her Heavenly Father. Marian is survived by her sweetheart Gale of 48 years, and her three daughters Julie (Tom) Friedel, Sherri (Rob) Dias, both of St. George; and Tracy (Richard) Eakle of Garland, Utah; 15 grandchildren; brother Allan (Julie) Mann and sister Claudia (John) Matthews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grand- daughter. Services held on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at the Bountiful 27th Ward, 1145 North 200 East in Bountiful. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
