Spiritualist Medium. Making his first public demonstration aged 12, he continued to deliver spirit messages for the next 63 years. He was made president of the Spiritualist's National Union in 1970, and principal of the Arthur Findlay College in 1979, both continuing until his death. Famous for his reportedly astonishing acuracy, he often even described the correct house and phone numbers of his sitters. After suffering various strokes in 1990, he continued his work until he passed away in 1993 from a heart attack in his home, shortly after a demonstration in the Spiritualist Church in Blackpool.
