She was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Macy, the daughter of Ray and Elzie Zartman. On April 27, 1946 she married Leroy Mills Jr., who survives.
Margaret was a member and had been an active Sunday school and vacation Bible school teacher at Perrysburg Baptist Church and attended Denver Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a 1942 graduate of Fulton High School.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy; her children, Linda Mills, Indianapolis, Jan Pike and spouse Jim, Indianapolis, Curt and wife Barbara Mills, Macy, and Kent and wife Sharon Mills, Denver; grandchildren, Jessica Pike, Indianapolis, Adam Pike, Indianapolis, Nathan Vandermark, Denver, and Myranda Rusie, Portland, Ore.; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and one aunt, Cecil Gorecki, Logansport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Forest (Bud) Zartman and Phil Zartman; and her nephew, Dana Zartman.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Ind., with Pastor Steve Bate officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Denver Baptist Church Building Fund or your favorite charity.
