Henry Chesebro Chilton Times April 26,1919

The third death in the Chesebro family within eight days occurred Saturday afternoon April 21st, when Henry Chesebro passed away at his home in the town of Charlestown. Just a week previous Mr. Chesebro's wife died from pneumonia and on Tuesday of last week his brother, Andrew, was the victim of the disease and was buried on Sunday afternoon. Henry Chesebro had been a sufferer for nearly two years past from heart trouble and the sudden death of his wife and companion no doubt aggravated the disease and later his brother's death worked on him to such an extent that his family had little hopes of his recovery and he passed away as above stated.
Henry Chesebro was the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Chesebro and was born Jan. 18, 1857, on the homestead farm in the northern section of this city. After leaving the village schools he assisted on the farm and later owned a portion of it. Some thirteen years ago he sold out and moved to Charlestown where he worked at odd jobs. He was employed for a number of years in the Paulsen & Dorschel apple warehouse and was considered an expert on fruit, being sent to different sections of this country to oversee a crew of men employed by this concern in packing fancy apples for the market.
He was married on Nov. 12, 1881 to Mary Frances Graves. Four children, three sons and a daughter were born to them, Ray of Racine, William of Sullivan and Perry at home and one daughter, Miss Stella at home. He is also survived by a brother, William Chesebro of Gravesville, a civil war veteran.
