AMERICAN FALLS, Idaho -- JoAnn "Joan" Marie Morris, 72, American Falls, Idaho and formerly of Little Falls, died Tuesday, July 27, 1999, at the Power County Nursing Home in American Falls.

She was born Sept. 22, 1926, in Little Falls to Warren and Georgianna Gordon II. She graduated from St. Francis High School in 1945. She married Claude Morris. They lived in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. They later divorced. She moved to Minneapolis where she worked for Coldwell Banker and Martin Homes as a receptionist. In 1986, she moved to Little Falls. After her mother died in 1992, she moved to American Falls. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Little Falls and Presentation of the Lord, St. Mary's in American Falls.

Survivors include three sons, Patrick Morris, Overland Park, Kan., Michael Morris, Phoenix, and Gordon Morris, Lenexa, Kan.; three daughters, Carolyn Setzler, Apple Valley, Kathryn Morris, Spokane, Wash., and Claudia Brulotte, American Falls; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Schroeder, Little Falls.

Her parents, two brothers, Thomas Gordon III, and Warren "Buzz" Gordon II, and a sister, Rochelle Gordon, died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Little Falls with Rev. Nick Landsberger officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery of Little Falls. A memorial mass was also conducted at Presentation of the Lord, St. Mary's Parish in American Falls, Idaho.
