Born Jan. 27, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert S. Sr. and May Daniel Dettmer. She was the wife of George S. Hush, who died in 1972; and Donald Ralph Blizzard, who died in 2000.
She had worked for the State of Maryland, Rosewood Center for many years. She had worked with her uncle at the former Shervette's Corner Liquor Store in Eldersburg, and for Bay State Investigative Services. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Brenda G. and Donald Hamilton Sr., of Woodstock; stepchildren Richard T. Blizzard, of Olney, and Donna M. Dunn, of Charlotte, N.C.; a half sister, Ramona Mohan, of Pikesville; grandchildren Donna Clark-Koback, Don Hamilton Jr., Dona Boone and Missy David; great-grandchildren Samantha, Zachary, Tyler, Jesse, Katelyn, Chris and Frank; and a great-great-granddaughter, Haylee.
She was predeceased by a son, the late George Donald Hush.
