Obituary: THE HERALD TRIBUNE - BATESVILLE, INDIANA, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 1995 - Miriam J. "Mim" Kerker, 67, of Batesville, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 1995, at Margaret Mary Community Hospital. Born Aug. 21, 1928, in Batesville, she was the daughter of Randolph and Felicia (Ferkinhoff) Firsich. Her mother survives in Batesville. She married Clarence E. Kerker on May 16 1953, at St. Louis Church in Batesville. He also survives. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and the Ladies Society at the church. She was also a member of the Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her mother and husband, survivors include two sons: Mike and Pat Kerker, both of Batesville; one daughter Nancy Meyer, of Batesville; one brother: James Firsich, of Greensburg; and two sisters; Glorian Koors, of Batesville, and Iris Huneke, of Greensburg. Other survivors include seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville. A rosary service will also be on Tuesday, at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father Bill Farris officiating. Burial will be in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Batesville Rescue 10 Life Squad.
