FROSTBURG — Mrs. Jane (Rafferty) Carroll, 83, died yesterday at Allegany County Infirmary, Cumberland. She was the widow of Peter Carroll, former grocer on Bowery Street. Mrs. Carroll was the last member of her immediate family and is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A requiem mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 9:30 a. m. at St. Michael's Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Sodality will recite the rosary tonight at the Hafer Funeral Home here following lenten services at St. Michael's Church. The Cumberland Evening Times, Friday, April 4, 1952
