JACK W. CREWS
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock for Jack W. Crews, 53, who died Thursday at his home near Fort Mudge following a long illness. He had been engaged in the mercantile business and in the operation of a service station. Due to ill health he had retired from active business for the past several months. The Rev. Mr. Wainwright officiated at the funeral services which were held at Bethlehem Church. Burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery.
He is survived by his wife; by three daughters, Mrs. W. C. Carter, of Waresboro, and Mrs. Matthew Carter of Race Pond; and Miss Maud Crews of Route 5; by one son, J. W. Crews, jr., of Route 5; by one sister, Miss Nancy Crews, of Winokur; and by three brothers, Francis Crews and Ivy Crews, of Winokur, and W. W. Crews of Fairfax.
The funeral arrangements were in charge of W. L. Hinson.
