Virgil came to Belt, Montana in 1887, and farmed and ranched at Riceville, Mt. thats near Belt, after Graduating from Flint High School. Thier in Montana he later meet his wife Lura Gleason Willson and on June 19,1897 they married in Great Falls, Montana. They farmed and ranched at Riceville, Mt. and later Virgille, Montana for 40 years before coming back east again. They had Four children Fay,Virgil,David,Guy E.Willson. Virgil changed his last name back to the original spelling of Willson, but was born with the name Wilson (1L) after his Grandfather Nahum Newton Wilson had changed the name to (1L) Wilson from (2LL's) before used in Willson. He told his Grand son Virgil Austin Willson he had always regretted changing his name Willson back to Wilson. All Virgil's family spell thier name Willson to this day. Nahum's family all spell thier name Wilson. All Willson's before Nahum Newton Wilson or Willson name was spelled Willson with (2LL's) in our family tree.
