Janet left this world brighter than when she entered. We will miss her glittering eyes, her soft hand-pats of love, her laughter that often turned to joyous crying, and her soothing comfort extended to any in need. She uplifted and encouraged with a gentle grace. She explored and enjoyed life with her husband of nearly 56 years, Wendell (Wink) Doss. Together they created a peaceful, loving home filled with beauty and laughter.
Left to carry on her spark are her children and grandchildren: Barry Doss and wife Vicki of Cedar Park, TX; Don Doss of Charleston; Debra Schwertner and husband Don of Schwertner, TX,; Joy Doss and partner Reidun Øvrebø of Charleston. Andrew, James, Jessica, Victoria-Chase, Joshua, Cody, Kelsey, Tori, and Keira;
her sisters Barbara Theierl of Kanawha City and Sandra Chittum of Lake Worth, FL.
Janet was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Barker; mother, Nina Ball Barker; and sister, Brenda Cook.
