Sarah M. Chastain, 84, formerly of Burgettstown, died Saturday, December 29, 1984, in East Liverpool (Ohio) City Hospital. She was born December 21, 1900, in Sturgeon, a daughter of James and Elizabeth Walker Browning. Mrs. Chastain was a member of Hillcrest United Presbyterian Church in Burgettstown. On May 26, 1926, she married Hobson R. Chastain, who died March 15, 1969. Surviving are one daughter, Wilda Lou Horton of Weirton, W Va., one brother George Browning of McDonald, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends of Sarah M. Chastain, formerly of Burgettstown, who died Saturday, December 29, 1984, were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Lee and Martin Funeral Home. Burgettstown, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday December 31, with the Rev. Haury officiating. Burial in Grandview Cemetery, Florence.
