Norma J. Holcom, 86, of Salina, passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2011. She was born Jan. 4, 1925, in Salina to Marvin and Blanche (Smith) Overton. She graduated from Ada High School and Brown Mackie College and worked for Planter's State Bank. Norma was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Ashlie Marie Caldwell. She was a member of University United Methodist Church and a life member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. Norma is survived by her husband, Romaine Holcom, of the home; daughter, Linda Pitts, of Salina; son, Larry Holcom, of Junction City; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the mortuary.
