Robert Mark "Bo" Raber Jr., 30 of Burton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday (Sept. 5, 2011) in Morgantown.

He was born Nov. 13, 1980, at South Carolina, a son of the Robert Mark Raber, Sr. of New Jersey and Rhonda Jean Jones and husband Jeffrey Layman of Hundred.

In addition to his parents, Bo is survived by his son, Kaleb Joseph Raber of Martinsburg; one sister, Amy Sayer and husband Ron of Burton; nieces, Melissa Nicole "Cole" Sayer and Alyssa Paige "Ally" Sayer; and his grandmothers, Jean Jones of Flat Run, Mannington, and Dottie Raber of Mannington.

Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his former wife, Michelle Raber of Martinsburg.

Bo was preceded in death by his fiancé, Katrina Lynn Hudson; his unborn daughter, Alexis Paige Raber; and his grandfathers, Robert Cleveland Jones and Guy Raber.

Bo liked to hunt, ride four-wheelers and spend time with his son, Kaleb, and his nieces, Nicole and Ally. He also enjoyed cooking, and his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He was employed at Blue Mountain Engineering and also worked as an auto technician at Walmart. He attended North Marion High School. He and his son Kaleb had a special song called "The Highway 20 Ride."

Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Evangelist Michael Reese officiating. Burial will follow at the Fluharty Cemetery in Plum Run. The casket will remain closed for all services. Condolences may be left for the family at mastersfuneralhomewv.com.
