Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Dunlap of Jim Falls, Wis., passed away Sunday right at 9 o'clock on Mothers' day. Born Mary Elizabeth McKee on Oct. 25, 1856, at Sullivan County, N. Y., she came to Mazomanie in 1870. She was married to Ervin Dunlap of Mazomanie in 1875. They came to Chippewa county 26 years ago and resided in the towns of Anson and Eagle Point. Mr. Dunlap preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1937. She is survived by the following five children: Raymond E. Dunlap, Mazomanie; Mrs. Alfred Madsen, Minneapolis; Adam N. Dunlap, the town of Anson; Guy L. Dunlap, Mazomanie; and Mrs. Wm. Denning, Jim Falls.; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Eva Carter, Minneapolis, Kan., and one brother, Earl Carter of Mazomanie.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Dunlap were held Friday afternoon, May 19, at 2:30 o'clock from the Hogseth funeral chapel, Rev. O. K. Vall officiating during the services. Mrs. Giles Schaal and Mrs. Warren Lake sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," "Shall We Gather at the River?" and "Meet Me," accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Amos Hamlin. Pallbearers included five grandsons, Gerald Denning, Merle Denning, Lloyd Denning, Rolland Dunlap, Harlan Dunlap, and Wesley Maier. Interment was in the Copp cemetery in the town of Anson.

Out-of-town relatives who attended the funeral were Raymond E. Dunlap, Mr. and Mrs. Guy L. Dunlap, and Earl Carter of Mazomanie; Mrs. Alfred Madsen of Minneapolis, Minn.; Gerald E. Denning of Milwaukee; Cpl. Lloyd A. Denning of Thermal, Calif.; and Mrs. Delbert Karns and Doris of Menominee, Wis.
