She was a Sgt. in the United States Army Reserve and attended New Beginnings Church in Hildebran. Brandy was a member of the American Legion, National Rifle Association, and the National Honor Society Golden Key. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Doran Evan Dameron; grandfathers, Ralph Jacumin and Charles White; and aunt, Kim Jacumin. Survivors include her mother, Cynthia "Cindy" Ramsey Trout and husband, Rick, of Bristol, Ind.; father, Charles "Bob" Robert White and girlfriend, Teresa, of Valdese; her partner Beth Gill, of Hickory; grandparents, Thomas Dean Ramsey and wife, Grace, of Connelly Springs, and Dorothy Jacumin, of Rutherford College; aunts, Cheryl Ann Roper and Cecelia Mayfield, of Rutherford College, Maria McDaniel, of Morganton, Julie Coffey, of Lenoir, and Judith Jacumin, of Hickory; and uncles, Mark Ramsey, of Tennessee, Oral White, of Rutherford College, Noel White, of Baton, and Bill and Jeff Jacumin, both of Rutherford College. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Ser-vice with the Revs. Paul David Kurts and Donna O'Neal officiating. Inter-ment will follow at the North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain with Mili-tary Honors provided by the United States Army. The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, P.O.
