SAN ANGELO — Paula Jo Franklin, 76, of San Angelo passed away into eternity on Friday, June 29, 2012, in Rotary House of Hope.
Family visitation will from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012, in Robert Massie Funeral Home Riverside Chapel with Pastor Scooter McCurdy officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.
She was born Sept. 24, 1935, in San Angelo to Paul Cecil Knieff and Mildred Joyce (Askey) Knieff. She was married to Garland Evan Franklin for 51 years and employed with Levi Strauss and SAISD maintenance until she retired in 1999.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mildred; husband Garland; and infant brother Willis Lowry Knieff.
She is survived by four children, Lindy Attinello and husband John of North Carolina, RETHA HARRIS and husband RANDY HARRIS of San Angelo, Benton Franklin of Brady, Mark Franklin and wife Christy of North Carolina; grandchildren Shannon, Zena, Chassidy, Hannah, Sarah, Havilah, Marina Jo, Amber and Lauren; five great- grandchildren; and sisters Linda Baird of Miles, Texas, Toni Bowyer of Austin, Texas, and Vickie Cope of Grape Creek, Texas.
