Harry S. Kopp
Harry S. Kopp, 81, 903 York Street, died at 6:10 this morning at Hanover General Hospital where he was admitted Sept. 2. He was the son of the late John T. and Arrminda Meckley Kopp. His late wife was Gertrude Becker Kopp who died in 1937. He retired 15 years ago from R. R. Sheppard Co. Survivors include his children: Dale Kopp, 32 York St., Mrs. Vivian Brillhart, 1335 Broadway, John Kopp, 1 Park St., Dean Kopp, Greenmount, Md., Reed Kopp, 51 Blooming Grove Road, Mrs. Joan Chapman, York R. D. 1; 18 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Sterner, California, Mrs. Hilaria Sterner, 901 York St., Mrs. Evelyn Toot, 901 Pork (sic) St.; a brother, Herbert Kopp, 812 York St. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and Eagle Fire Co. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kenworthy Funeral Home, 268 Frederick St. The Rev. Arthur L. Ruths will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Viewing will be Monday evening at the funeral home.
