On September 20, 1871, she was united in marriage to Eli Holler who proceeded her in death May 1920. After their marriage they settled on a farm near Bardolph where they remained until 16 years ago when they decided to move to town.
To this union were born ten children: Mrs. Ella Faires of Tampa, Fla; Mrs. Irene Jones of Bardolph; Mrs. Clara Wetzel, Mrs. Gertrude Gaumer and Mrs. Olive Johnson all of Macomb,IL; Mrs. Meda Markham of Blandinsville, IL; Mrs. Frances Markham of Denver, Colo.; Eli Grover Holler of Colchester, IL; Mrs. Ruth Hudson of Walnut Grove, IL and Mrs. Grace Hudson, deceased.
Mrs. Holler united with the M.E. church of Bardolph when she was a girl , and has always been a true Christian both in principle and in practice. She was a kind, loving, mother and a good neighbor. Her many friends were sorry to her of her death.
Sometime before her death she had a fall breaking her hip which no doubt hastened her death.
Besides her children she leaves to mourn 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild, three brothers: Chas. Jackson of Washington, IA; Lewis Jackson of Minnesota, and Elba Jackson of Avon, IL. Three sisters: Mrs. Alice Flemming, Mrs. Mina Cannon, and Mrs. Elizabeth Penisten of Bardolph, IL; one sister Mrs. Eva Walker, having preceded her in death.
Funeral services were conducted at the home Saturday, April 24, 1926, at 10:30a.m., by Rev. Thos. Nelson of Bowling Green, MO., assisted by Rev. Stocking of Bardolph. Rev. and Mrs. Nelson sang: "Rock of Ages", "Will the Circle Be Unbroken," and "Meet Me There."
