Pete Melvin, 86, Of Hopkins, Dies
Pete Melvin, 86, of Hopkins, died Sunday night at the home of his niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Johnson, northwest of Gravity. He had been ill for several months and was taken to the Johnson home last week to be cared for.
The funeral services were held at the Christian church in Barnard Wednesday afternoon and burial was in the Barnard cemetery.
He is survived by three brothers, William Fay]Melvin of Bedford, John Alan Melvin of Coin and James Edwin Melvin of Hopkins. His wife died several years ago.
