Mrs. Margaret Kiekenbusch a resident of this vicinity since 1855, passed peacefully away at her home on Jefferson street Tuesday from a general decline due to old age. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church Friday morning, the Rev. J. A. VanTreeck officiating, and her remains laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Kiekenbusch was born in Spillem, Germany, Oct. 31, 1839. She came to America with her parents in 1855, settling on a farm at Brown's Lake.

In 1861 she was united In marriage with Henry Fishman, who died In 1865, leaving her with two sons. Henry of Wilmot, and Frank of this city. In 1888 she was united In marriage with Joseph Kiekenbusch. who died eighteen years ago.

Besides the two sons mentioned she survived by the following children by her second marriage: Mary at home, Emma, Raeiner, Mrs. Frank Ranker, Mrs. Frank Boschert and Jos. Kiekenbusch, Burlington.
