Funeral service for James Wilson "Jim" Rambo, 78, Lawton, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kim Hames officiating.
Mr. Rambo died Friday in Lawton.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
He was born January 18, 1934 in Wichita Falls, Texas, to James Nolan and Claudia Mae (Kidd) Rambo. He grew up in Wichita Falls and was a graduate of Wichita Falls Senior High School. He married Carol Glidewell on June 8, 1957 in Wichita Falls.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 until 1958. He was retired from the Lawton Fire Department after 20 years of service as well as having worked for Bitterman and Son Vending for 14 years. Following his retirement he worked for Fields RV for eight years. He enjoyed camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; a brother, Jerry Mack Rambo, Wichita Falls; numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
