John Mercer Brockenbrough, member of a family long prominent in Virginia, died at an early hour Sat. at his home, "Doolough Lodge," on the Pump House road, near Richmond, VA, in his 65th year. Mr. Brockenbrough was a son of John Mercer Brockenbrough and Mrs. Austina Broughbrough. he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Clara Kenny Brkenbrough; seven children, Kenny, Frances, Eleanor, Emily, David, MMary Austin and Sarah Waller Brockenbrough; also by four brothers, Austin Brockenbrough of Richmond, Edward Brackenbrough of NOrfolk; Benjamin Brockenbrough, of Newport News and Samuel Brockenbrough of Suffolk; four sisters, Mrs. James Roane, of Rumford; Mrs. John C. Taliaferro, of Baltimore; Mrs. Francis Mallory, of Lexington and Mrs. James Anderson of Amelia.
