From the Faribault Daily News, Dec. 6, 1989:

Roger I. Helgeson, 50, Kenyon, died Monday, Dec. 4, in Zumbrota Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Lutheran Church, Kenyon, with the Rev. David J. Brown III officiating. Interment will be in Kenyon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in Hanson Funeral Home, Kenyon, and one hour before the service in the church. He is survived by his wife, Donna Joan of Kenyon; three sons, Randy, Todd and Kevin, all of Kenyon; five grandchildren; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Irwin Helgeson of Kenyon; one sister, Diane Williams of Rochester; and one brother, Duane of Farmington.
