Florence was the youngest child of Joseph Largan and Mary Carey Largan. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 26, 1926. At the age of one her mother died and she was sent to live at the Convent of St Dominick's in Rockland County, New York, where she stayed until she was 18. She returned to Brooklyn where she met and married Henry Lopez, who pre deceased her.
She was survived by four children, Raymond, Robert, John and Lorraine. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Kenny, Kerrianne, Brian and Christopher Carpenter and Anna Cardoza. Her daughter Theresa died in 1992 and her granddaughter Christina died in 1985. She was also survived by one brother Joseph Largan and one sister Alice Largan Austin.
