Mr. Medlin died Monday, March 29, 2004. Born in Columbia, SC he was the son of the late Rufus and Florrie Goodale Medlin. A Columbia native, Waldo R. Medlin graduated from Columbia High School and attended the University of South Carolina. He was the founder and president of W.R. Medlin Company Inc., a steel fabrication firm in West Columbia, South Carolina.
He is survived by wife, Helen Royals Medlin; brother, ... of Alhparetta, GA; five children, ...; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. W.R. Medlin, Inc. will be closed April 1, 2004 for the funeral.
