The community of Beechwood was grieved to learn of the death of Mrs William Glass, nee Fredericka Wilhelmina Reinke, aged 41 years, 11 months and 18 days, on Wednesday, April 28, death occurring at Fond du Lac where she underwent and operation for goiter, Saturday, April 24.
She was born in the town of Scott on May 14, 1878, and spent her life in the community near Beechwood. On May 10, 1900, she was united in marriage to William A Glass.
She is survived by her grief-stricken husband and one daughter, Elva, at home. Other survivors, four sisters and four brothers, are: Mrs Fred Habeck, Campbellsport; Mrs Bertha Petznick, Cascade; Mrs Ida Koch, Beechwood, Mrs Peter Deiner, Batavia; August Reinke, Beechood; Julius Reinke, of this city; Frank Reinke, Plymouth, and Willie Reinke, of Coleman. Her parents, one brother and sister, preceded her in death.
The funeral services were held on Saturday May 1, at St John's church in Beechwood, the Rev Kuenone, of Silver Creek, officiating. Interment was made in the Beechwood cemetery. The pall-bearers were August, Julius, Frank and Will Reinke, and Arthur and Adolph Glass.
