"Mrs. C. Pauline Oswald, 87, of 601 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, died Monday in Kutztown Manor. She was the widow of Clarence J. Oswald.
She was a teacher at the Palmerton Elementary School for many years before retiring.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lydia (Drumheller) Stoudt.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Palmerton, where she sang in the choir for more than 50 years.
She was past president of the Palmerton Over 60 Club.
Survivors: Daughter, Kathryn, wife of William Theilacker of Freemansburg; son, Richard R. of Portsmouth, R.I., and five grandchildren.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton. Memorial services, 11 a.m. Sept. 24 in the church. Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday, T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Ave., Palmerton."
