Jerry Keith Bull, was born June 9, 1946, in Booneville, Arkansas, to Urby Thomas and Myrtle Alta (Stovall) Bull. He died June 27, 2012, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years. He was reared and educated in Van Buren, Arkansas, and was a graduate of Van Buren High School. Jerry continued his education attending the University of Arkansas. He served his country faithfully with the United States Army in the 101st Airborne division during Vietnam. His decorations included the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Rifle, Army Commendation Medal, and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. He was honorably discharged on March 5, 1971. He returned stateside and began his career as a generator salesman. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Tulsa. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes, but especially enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He was also an avid Oklahoma State University fan.

Visitation was held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso, Oklahoma. Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Father Chris Waters officiating. Graveside service and interment were at 2:00 p.m. that afternoon at Oak Cemetery, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, with Rusty Bushong officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Jerry's name to American Heart Association, 2227 East Skelly Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74105. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
