Stephen Earle Garland, 68, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in LaBelle, Fla.
Born March 14, 1944, in Washington, Ind., he was a son of the late Fritz and Mary Louise Overby Garland. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a retired optometrist.
Survivors include a brother, Bud Garland of Evansville, Ind.; and his ex-wife and best friend, Martha Worthington Garland of Lancaster.
