Alladean L. Clouser, 90, Winamac, IN, passed away at 7:30 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Hickory Creek at Winamac, Winamac, IN.

She was born February 19, 1922, in Medaryville, IN, to George J. and Grace A. Tetzloff Kroft. Alladean married Ernest Clouser on December 20, 1941 in North Judson, IN. He died July 26, 1998.

Alladean was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winamac. She was a 50 year member of OES Tippecanoe Chapter #96 and a Past Matron, having served three times. She was a Rainbow Mother Advisor.

Alladen was a 50 year member of the Home Demonstration Clubs. She was a member of the Pulaski County REACT.

She served as a 4H leader, Cub Scout & Girl Scout leader, and choir mom.

Over the course of her lifetime, Alladean worked as a laborer at Kingsbury Ordinace Plant and managed the bakery at Broken Arrow Campground. She worked at the Bonnell Flower Shop for many years. Alladean was a cook for several years at the Winamac School system.

Alladean served as Director of the Pulaski County Red Cross for 12 years. She received the Clara Barton Award for her many years of volunteer service. She was instrumental in the creation of the Pulaski County United Way. She was a Reserve Deputy and Dispatcher for the Pulaski County Sheriffs Department.

Alladean was well known for playing the organ, piano, or keyboard at church, weddings, and funerals. She enjoyed painting, sewing,fishing and baking. Alladean was a member of the Pulaski County Arts Association.

In recognition of her many years of community service she received the H.J. Halleck Communtiy Service Award in 2005.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM EDT Sunday, July 1, 2012, in First United Methodist Church, Winamac, with Rev. Matt Landry officiating.

Burial will take place in the Winamac Cemetery, Winamac, IN.

Friends may call 4-8 PM EDT Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Frain Mortuary, and one hour prior to services at the church on Sunday.

OES Services will be held at 7 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Red Cross or the Pulaski County United Way.
