PRINCETON (RNS) - Leslie C. Caldwell, 82, of Princeton, died Wednesday in a Princeton hospital. He was born at Lerona, the son of the late Floyd and Ellen Fleshman Caldwell. He was a retired Virginian Railway Co. brakeman and a member of the First Christian Church of Princeton and the Old Guards.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Daisy Keaton Caldwell; a son, L. C. Caldwell Jr. of Charleston; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Collier of Glen Morgan, Mrs. Selma Drescher of Roanoke, Va., and Mrs. Betty Bailey of El Paso, Texas; a brother, E. C. Caldwell of Bluefield; three sisters, Mrs. Kyle M. Cook of Mullens, Mrs. Giles Pennington of Dry Creek and Mrs. John Wyrick of Gambrills, Md.; 11 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Burns Wornal Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton.
