Re-enlisted March 17, 1864 Pvt.,Co D, 1st Reg for 3 yrs. Wounded June 5, 1864 at Piedmont, VA, left at Staunton, VA. Died March 30, 1865 at Army Hospital, Baltimore, MD., WV Infantry Co G 2nd Reg. WV Veteran's info. His body was shipped home to his widowed mother Julia Ann Chambers.
