Clarice Rosabelle Balmos passed away Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, at Lake Shore Village. Graveside services will be at 12 p. m. Saturday, Sept. 17, in San Antonio, with the Rev. Dan Sanford officiating.

Rosabelle was born Nov. 28, 1906 in Devine, Texas, to Crit Wilson Moore and Willie Mae (English) Moore. She loved to crochet, work in her garden and attend her son's music concerts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Frank Balmos; son, Frank Wilson Balmos, parents and sisters, Hazel Sanford and Audrey Burton.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Donald Clyde Balmos and wife, Nancy of Waco; grandchildren, David Charles Balmos and wife, Tricia of Houston, Jonathan Merrill Balmos of Washington, D.C. and Mandy Sue Morrison and husband, Evan of Fayetteville, Ark; great-grandchildren, Chase Michael Balmos and Erica Paige Balmos of Houston.

Memorials may be made to Seventh and James Baptist Church or the McLennan Community College Foundation.
