From "Scrips and Scraps," collection from six scrapbooks. Scrubgrass, June 24, Harry Williams, son of E. E. Williams, of Scrubgrass township, drowned in Ohio river near Sistersville on last Wednesday, June 20. Remains brought to his former home and buried in new cemetery at Stone church in this township. Brother Plumer and his wife, his sister Edna and her husband, William Rankin, accompanied remains and were present at funeral. Twenty-one years of age and had been at Sistersville about three months.... Brother of Mrs. S. E. Phipps of Emlenton, who with a younger sister who was with her could not be present at funeral.... Pall bearers were his brothers Plumer, Orin and Otto, his brothers-in-law, William Rankin and S. E. Clay, and a cousin, Thedore Jolley. Third member of family who met death of accident.
