Funeral services for Charles Bernardine Schmitz, 16-month son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Schmitz were held at 4 o"clock Sunday afternoon at the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Parnell. The Rev. Fr. Bonaventure officiated. Servers were Earl Edward Berg, Paulie Schmitz and Leo Raymond Auffert. Music was furnished by the church choir. The baby died Friday at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Anna Heflin.
Pallbearers were Harold Schmitz, Donald Schmitz, Harold Heflin and Norman Heflin.
Flowers were in charge of the Misses Irene Schmitz, Marcella Schmitz, Monica Ann Schmitz, Carol Anne Schieber, Adela Schieber and Elaine Berg.
