JOSEPH VARGO
GLOUSTER--Joseph Vargo, 88, Ancient Oaks Nursing Home, Glouster, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mount St. Mary Hospital. He was born in Hungary and was a retired miner and farmer.
Juliana Szaras, his wife, preceded him in death.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Julia Szallars, of Fostoria; Mrs. Betty Brown, of Lancaster; Mrs. Rose Martin of Dayton; Mrs. Goldie Kiefer, of Fostoria; and Miss Helen Vargo, of Cleveland; one son, Frank of Dayton; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Van Fossen Funeral Home, Glouster, by the Rev. Don Seevers. Burial will be in Hollister Cemetery.
