John Rea - Clintonville loses one of its strong, supportive voices: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice

Booster, The (Columbus, OH) - May 18, 2009

Deceased Name: John Rea - Clintonville loses one of its strong, supportive voices

One of Clintonville's strongest voices was silenced Friday when John Rea died at the age of 57.
Rea was active in the community's Fourth of July celebrations, Whetstone High School boosters and helped start the Dominion Middle School Baseball-Softball League which remains strong today.
If something made him mad, he was never shy about letting you know -- though he was just as quick to put his arm around you and say "Good job" if he was pleased about something.
His commitment to local youth, shared by his wife Nancy who teaches at Dominion, has created ripples of influence that can't be quantified.
