MRS. MARIE WALSTAD
Mrs. Olaf Walstad, 96, of Mankato, formerly of LeRoy, died Wednesday, October 9, 1974 at the Mankato Lutheran Home. She had been a resident of the home for the last six years. Mrs. Walstad lived most of her life in LeRoy.
Marie Hauge was born February 23, 1878 in LeRoy to Carrie and Halver Hauge. She married the late Olaf Walstad on December 28, 1910.
Mrs. Walstad was a member of the Miriam Circle and an honorary member of American Lutheran Church Women of the LeRoy Lutheran Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Carolyn) Boulett of Minneapolis and Mrs. Joseph (Dorothy) Cray of Mankato, two sons, harris of Minot, ND. and Orlow of Joplin, MO. Seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 12, at 11:00 AM at the LeRoy Lutheran Church with Rev. Gary Olson officiating. Interment was in the LeRoy Cemetery.
