FRANK ALDERMAN

GLOUSTER--Frank Alderman, 72, died at the Athens State Hospital about 9 o'clock Saturday night. Mr. Alderman was taken from this city to the hospital for treatment several weeks ago The remains were brot to this city Sunday morning and taken to the home of Mrs. James Wheatley, a niece, near this city.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 and will be conducted by Rev. Belchar of Jacksonville. Interment will be made in the cemetery at Hollister.

Mr. Alderman was a veteran of the Civil War and the greater part of his life was spent in this vicinity. He was never married and for a number of years lived by himself in property he owned just south of the office of Dr. Crawford.

Frank was the son of Julius and Mary "Lucy" Lampkin Alderman. He shares a headstone with his sister, Catharine.

Franklin T. Alderman enlisted in Company G, Ohio 141st Infantry Regiment on May 2, 1864. He mustered out on Sept 3, 1864 at Gallipolis, Ohio.
